(This is my first story of the Secret of Luck being the evil character, besides Total Control, which wasn't really in his Control. Ha ha.. Control.. So yeah, any character have no mind.)

A pink colored Secret stood outside on the balcony of the Castle of the Secrets, looking somewhat powerful in it's stance, energy cascading from every fiber of it's being. The castle itself seemed dead, and no signs of the other Secrets were around, Chaos was not playing tricks, Order was not berating him for it; Life was not cleaning the castle, Death was not into one of his old, dusty books; Light was not around to keep the place lively, Darkness was not hiding in a dim corner playing a game with himself.
BL

No one was seen around, save for this pink colored Secret. Like every so often, Order and Chaos must renew the balance, just exactly like Life and Death, same for Light and Darkness. But, for some reason, the balance within Luck's being did not follow through, for some reason, Luck split, creating an imbalace, why that is, none of the other Secrets knew. But before any of them could respond to this happened, this pink cloak blew them out of their home, and banished them to some other dimension.

So forth from there, this pink cloak spread it's entropy causing powers out into the multiverse, allowing any bad thing to happen to anyone. Planets began to die and stars began to blow, and slowly, all reality itself was beginning to be destroyed from the inside out.

Ripping forth energy, this pink Secret blasted some energy into the universe, wreaking more and more havoc upon random objects, and with it, bringing the destruction of worlds.

"Go forth, my power, destroy all you seek! Make this universe mine." The pretty colored Secret spoke aloud, as pink energy spew forth from it's hands of goo.

It continued to release more energy into the multiverse, getting more powerful with each wave it sent out and destroyed. This pink energy connected to it's magic-goo hands.

"Uncle? Where's my parents?" A voice was heard. The pink Secret turned around to come face to face with Twilight, the only child Secret in existence so far.

"Who knows? Probably out playing who-knows-what. Go, play within the castle, I'm busy." The pink one demands, and gets his wish.

Cascading pink energy continues to be blasted out into the universe as time goes on. As by now, it can be decided that something went terribly long with the Secret of Luck, as only his bad luck side was around, the good luck missing, nowhere to be seen. As of now, only one part of Luck felt to be in existence, that being the bad luck, the condescending jerk who would do anything to make others lives miserable.

"Tick, tock, just a little more energy...." He mumbles the rest grumpily, floating off the balcony, he takes off a bit far into space, sensing energy to take from others to add to his collection of powers, his energy search scanned various distances and various lands within close proximity, but simple and quick as it may be, he has not been at full power for ages.

Evil Karma

The pink cloak had the castle move, a dark pink forcefield surrounding it, energies welling up within, the castle crashing and destroying anything that the field touches. Electrical charges blasting large rocks to bits, a few planet here and there becoming mere asteroids of space. On the balcony, the pink cloaked Secret commands the castle to stop moving, and, as if, on it's own accord it does so.

The cloaked figure floats out, searching the area, for any life, a few seconds later a portal ripped through space, a different Secret appeared, this one donning a yellow robe with pink polka dots, followed by two others, one that was colored blood red with white angel wings, and the other somewhat see through with a tint of blue.

"I've been looking for you three, where have you been?" Bad Luck immediately questioned.

"We've been busy, you think after our defeat those thousands of years ago that we suddenly pop up out of nowhere just to cause problems without you?" The yellow-polka dot pink asked.

"Whatever, anyways, the castle is ours now, the other Seven have been banished, into my own pocket dimension. I'm eventually going to crush it, but that takes time, and you know it. I can't afford any mess-ups this time. I won't tolerate it." The pink Luck spoke, "We're not going to lose, not this time."

The clear Secret daintily floated toward Bad Luck, "I zuggezt we take down the mozt powerful known beingz in thiz zector of the multiverze. That waz our miztake lazt time."

Bad Luck nodded, "So it's settled, go and kill any and everyone. Every child to senior in this area, kill them. Leave no survivors, no one should should get a chance. Not one should live. Kill them all."

Karma sat on a nearby rooftop with a sketchbook and a pencil in hand, furiously duplicating her surroundings onto the paper. Around her, Hecate fluttered about impatiently, her fairy-like wings beating rapidly with a faint hum.

"Is it really necessary to sketch right now?" she fumed.

No response.

Hecate sighed irritably.

Nearby, the yellow-polka dotted pink Secret materialized from nowhere, floating about, he picks up on the nearby respective energies of Karma and Hectate. He floats slowly in their direction, eventually coming into view, his golden colored eyes piercing through objects to see exactly where they are placed.

"You-" Karma called out to the Secret, still sketching. "Stop moving for a moment- I'm trying to get this just right..."

"Karma..." Hecate said warningly.

Though the Secret does not move, he speaks, "You're an artist. Correct? You have looks I've seen somewhere. And you too, floating orb of light, I already know of you." A pink colored smoke billows from under the Secret, "I'll make your lives end quickly, if I can for you, dear Hecate. Give Him my ragards, by the way, you know who He is." The smoke begins to move toward the duo.

Reacting quickly, Karma springs to her feet, hurling her pencil into the smoke like a dart, which then explodes in a brilliant flash of light. "YOU! You messed up my sketch!" she complained furiously.

"What is he- who- Karma!" Hecate blubbered, lost entirely for words.

The smoke vanishes, "Why do you suddenly get so upset, it is just a drawing." The mysterious Secret spoke, "I am Disease, I kill you slowly, I make sure you die because of it. You shall become gravely ill, you shall become weak." He stares at Karma, "I know why you looks so familiar. Now I see why, though you're a girl." Disease strangely states.

"And?" Karma challenges. "What's your point?"

"You must be His daughter." Even though his severely vague discription of who is named "His", Disease obviously knows who exactly Karma is. "I'm not giving you any chances. Not if you're His daughter." More smoke billows out from his cloak, pink flowing from one arm, yellow from the other. "You shall die."

Karma extends her hands; powerful winds billow forth, howling and beating against the Secret and the pestilent clouds.

The disease-filled clouds get blown away, disappearing into the wind, Disease, continues to float in the same spot, somewhat annoyed by Karma's move. Forming more pestilent clouds, he has them float high in the sky, and there, they condense with the water droplets within seconds. "Be prepared for some deadly rain." Disease states as he puts his cloaked arms back down at his side, a glowing yellow smirk materializing from under the hood.

"Order!" Karma calls out; suddenly, the world around them seems to slow down to the point of being still. The wind stops, the sky clears, and all becomes unnervingly tranquil.

Disease stares around the area, seemingly annoyed by this sudden intrusion of everything stopping, "Amazing, I'm blown away."

"That all you got?" Hecate taunts.

"Well, I was merely here for eliminating you. But I see that is an impossibility due to this expanded terrain we have just traded barbs with." Disease states, "I'm not the typical guy for a job such as this, but I know who will be."

Disease's are outstretches into the air, a black beam of energy shoots into the sky, out of the atmosphere, a few seconds later, a blood-soaked cloak appears, wings attatched to the back, this obviously being another Secret.

"You called?" It asked, seemingly annoyed, "You're lucky I just slaughtered a nearby planet."

"Yes," Disease answered, "I obviously can't beat this child down, land is too expanded, too much for I. You though can handle her."

"Fine, just stay back and watch or leave then, I don't care." The blood red Secret answered, turning to Karma and Hecate. "Child, what is your name?" It asks.

"She's Karma, the strongest Balance-Keeper in the Multiverse!" Hecate interrupted. "So go back to whatever hole you crawled out of if you know what's good for you!"

"I did not ask for you to answer." The bloody Secret answers. "Oh well, Karma." The Secret's arms extend outward, a bunch of people with spears, swords, and daggers appear. "I wish to see your fighting abilities. Charge."

All the people run for Karma and Hecate, ready to strike.

Karma raises her palms, tapping into the energies of Chaos, willing the very earth to rise; a tremor shakes the ground as it blows apart beneath the soldiers, sending rubble, stones, boulders, and bodies hurling in all directions.

The blood red Secret watches as some other parts of his army attack Karma and Hecate, some intending to spear them or skewer them. "Kill them."

At Hecate's command, a number of ghostly spectres rise out of the ground, morphing together and conglomerating into a domed shield that protects the duo from the Secret's troops.

"Almost like my army here, though, seems less organized." The Blood Secret notes, extending his hands, more humans, though these show broken bones, and some have missing limbs. "Get them." He commands. And more of them create a wave of invaders, intent on only killing Karma and Hecate.

Hecate flies around in a circle, summoning a great number of other ghostly figures to to battle with the mindless soldiers. Karma leaps through Hecate's shield, flies up into the air, and dives, landing behind the Secret.

"You are fast, child." The Bloody Secret notes once again, he slowly turns around while the battle ensues with Hecate and his army. "Tell me, from where do you hail? Only a warrior with such prowess must come from either a greatly known land or a prestigious familty." He speaks aloud, seemingly unfazed by the mini-war occuring behind him.

"I am Karma, daughter of Yakuro, and I hail from nowhere." Karma said, her personality switching immediately to a more mature and serious demeanor. "My Master was Arbiter."

"So one of the Balance Keepers taught you. A mighty warrior indeed, you've matured greatly." The Bloody Secret raises his hand, and a giant scythe, with a skull on the end appears. "I am War. I am Revival. I shall do battle with you, and see how well the mighty Arbiter has taught you."

Swinging the scythe in an arc, the blade comes crashing down toward Karma.

Stepping quickly toward the secret, Karma struck her palm out toward the scythe, blocking it by the shaft as she threw her other palm out toward the Secret in a powerful palm-strike.

As her hand gets close, the middle of the cloak opens up, revealing a giant sword popping out of the chest of our War-Hungry Secret. Out of the other hand, a spear slips out, the Secret preparing to impale Karma with it.

Reacting superhumanly fast, Karma manages to pull her hand back and leap back three paces, suffering only a minor scratch to her hand. She licks the wound, where tiny droplets of blood began to form, before clenching her fists, drawing power into her hands, which manifests as white flames that engulf her curled fingers.

Disease is taken aback by the white flames, and vanishes suddenly.

Our Blood Friend, who's got his hands on three weapons at once, stares at Karma, "In my years, I have not seen such energy come from a balance keeper. You must be special." He notes, "And the more special you are, the greater the change to the multiverse, one may make." A loud bell chimes, it's power radiating through everyone and everything.

The sword goes back into the Secret's body, the spear vanishes, and the scythe melts to nothingess. "Already? No, A few more minutes with you." A giant hammer appears in War's hand, he arcs it to the ground and slams it there hard, shaking the whole planet from it's orbit, knocking everyone off balance.

Karma flips into the air. "ORDER!" she cries, placing her palms on the ground as she lands; the flames around her hands explode in a massive shockwave that overtakes the entire world, slowly beginning to return it to it's natural state.

The hammer disintegrates to nothing, War stares at Karma as his army vanishes, returning back to the afterlife. "Very good. Your skills a admirable and your fighting prowess is great." War flings a card at Karma, "This details our next target, if you wish to stop us, be it so." War vanishes in a red light, which then dies down.

Karma catches the card between two fingers. As soon as the Secret of War disappears, she collapses onto all fours; the energy required to stabilize an entire planet taking a brief toll on her stamina. After breathing heavily for a few moments, she looks at the card.

The card shows the picture of a planet hidden within an aurora, this planet appears to have been cut in half, within the picture, even though that is not the case for the planet as of now.

"What are they playing at?" Hecate asks, fluttering over toward Karma. "Why would they lead us to their next destination?"

"They could be lying. Or it could be a trap." Karma suggested. "Either way, we have little options if we are going to stop them."

"Or one of them is insane enough to play a game with you two like this." A voice is heard, green energy crackles nearby, eventually, from a burst of green light, Good Luck appears, albiet weak, and somewhat see-through.

"Luck, is that you?" Karma asks. "What happened to your other half?"

"Yes, it is I." He answers, "I got split in half when Bad Luck decided to break off from me. I was supressing him for a while, but now he's free." Luck floats over, "He's more powerful than I, for now. You could compare him to a power greater than that of Control."

"...and how powerful is Control? My Master spoke of him before."

"Control was powerful enough that your master couldn't beat him by himself. And he easily took me down when I was myself, ages ago...." Luck states, somewhat sadly.

"I have finally surpassed my Master." Karma stated. "He left me with his own power before his death. Luck... is it possible that with my power alone, that I could defeat him?"

"Hey! What about me?!" Hecate interrupted irritably.

"Perhaps, there is a chance, as for everything." Luck states, "It's a shame your master died. Bad Luck though is dangerous, as are his three friends."

"They don't resemble normal Secrets." Karma said. "What exactly are they?"

"Regular Secrets with irregular abilities." Luck states, "Like me, they have something different about themselves. I'm split by power, they have two different abilities, though some may state otherwise; save for my Bad Luck side."

"Also... what is this world?" Karma asks, showing Luck the card left behind by War.

"That is Thyria, a planet filled with life and turmoil." Luck answers, "War appears there most often, but he's probably left it alone for now. So there might be a different Secret there. I don't know their plot, nor have I any idea what their goal is. So what the planet's importance is, is unknown."

Karma nodded. "Take us there."

"I shall." Luck states, enveloping Karma and Hecate in a green shroud, energy flowing about them.

Mystery of the Clear

The green energy vanishes a few minutes later, as Karma and Hecate find themselves with Luck on top of a rocky mountain, the lands below green with grasses and soft, red, glowing lights.

"Here we are, Thyria." Luck inputs, " As well to note, seems like nothing bad has occured yet."

"Yet." repeated Karma.

Hecate fluttered around Karma's head. "What's the deal with this planet?"

"It has been ravaged by war for ages and ages." Luck stated, "War has lived here for thousands of years, I wouldn't be surprised if the place finds itself falling apart any minute."

To Karma, the planet begins to quake, but to Hecate and Luck, nothing occurs to them, as if this is meant only to affect Karma herself.

Karma stumbles slightly. "What is... going on?"

Luck turns to Karma, "What do you mean? Is there something bothering you?"

"What are you talking about?" Karma asks.

"You feeling okay, Karma?" Hecate retorts.

"I feel... a tremor..."

"Juzt like many before you." At blinding speeds, a light blue Secret stands beside Karma, yet continues to float, albiet very slowly.

"You-" Luck began but got knocked down off the side of the mountain, in the time it took for Luck to fall over the side, the light blue Secret slams it's goo-hands against Hecate.

Before Hecate could even notice what had happened or cry out, Karma had swung around; pivoting on one foot, she kicked her other out toward the light-blue Secret with a blow that could shatter concrete.

The light blue Secret vanishes the second she makes contact with it, only to reappear nearby. "My dear, you zhow zuch ability. I like that."

Luck appears, "What are YOU doing here?!" He yells angrily.

"Nothing."

"OUCH!" Hecate cries out.

Karma reacts instantaneously; leaping high into the air and twisting about, she throws a punch downward toward the light-blue Secret.

The light blue Secret becomes clear, allowing Karma to pass right through him. He turns back to a light blue color, and blasts Karma with a blue energy, freezing part of her body. "Come now, you can try better." He taunts.

Tthough a few seconds later, Disease appears, with a very large spear. And tries to stab Karma right after the light blue Secret's attack.

Luck assists by fighting the light blue Secret, blasting him down, but the light blue Secret becomes clear before then.

Karma twists around, more lithe than a cat, and wills the earth to rise; a sharp spire of stone bursts upward beneath both Disease and the light-blue Secret.

Disease dodges the attack, the clear Secret vanishes, only to reappear near Luck and fight him down the mountain. Disease takes out a large hammer, "I took this off of War." He cackles with glee as he slams the hammer upon the mountain, triggering a volcano, he then vanishes.

The clear Secret fights with Luck, knocking him down, Luck gets knocked down, and repeatedly gets beaten by the clear one.

The land begins to quake as War's energy cascades throughout the land and world itself.

Hecate flutters around; from the ground burst forth another group of spectre-like beings who all rush in toward the clear Secret.

The clear Secret vanishes in black light before the spectre beings get close enough for the attack, Luck dusts himself off, "Thanks, but we have other issues." He states, the land obviously in danger due to the energy of War. "Karma, any abilities to help with this problem?"

Karma taps into the power of Order, commanding it to flow through her form and into the planet, in hopes of stabilizing it.

The planet eventually calms, yet the energy of War continues to be felt all across the land, power overwhelming the trio.

"No! Order! ORDER!" Karma cries out, sensing that her energies were failing to stop the power of War.

The powers of War calm down, if only slightly, the energy of War continue to be felt, but suddenly, it dies down. Luck sighs, "They're more powerful than they were a million years ago." He states, the whole world begins to quake once again, energies spreading from the ground as a loud CRACK is heard by the trio.

"W-w-w-what's goin on?" Luck questions.

"I would expect you to be the one to know!" Karma exclaims.

"Isn't it obvious by now?" A voice speaks, Luck stands straight, his cloak being frazzled by the voice. "You..."

"Yes, it is I." A pink Secrets states floating down to the trio while fading into view. "This world has been ripped in half. All because of you three."

"Yo-" Luck barely began.

"And look at this. Sad cosequences, is it not?"

Luck attacks Bad Luck, who swipes him across the face, sending him down toward the bottom of the mountain, where he crashes and one of the nearby mountains collapse upon him.

Bad Luck yawns, "Not the brightest, is he?"

Karma glared, but made no movement; she hadn't yet thought of a way to combat the manifestation of misfortune itself.

"You have my deepest sympathy for the death of Arbiter, your fool of a master." Bad Luck states, "When he went against Control, I half expected him to die. But then he makes a team of ragtags and beats him. I for one, was severely amused by such a happening. But now he's dead, my dear, how sad." He fake cries.

Karma charged forward.

"Karma, no!" Hecate cried.

"DIE!" Karma roared, leaping high into the air to deliver a kick to Bad Luck's head.

Because of Karma's outburst, Bad Luck smirks, knowing he has distorted her perception, allowing him to barely dodge and then deliver a powerful slam to her head, knocking her down toward the mountain. Bad Luck turns to Hecate, "She is not fully in control, yet. Eventually she'll be like him. But she's not completely there, just yet."

Karma hit the ground, dazed, tumbling a short distance before skidding to a stop. She felt hot tears begin to fill her eyes as she staggered to her feet and remembered the demise of her Master, the man who was like the father she never had...

Calling forth the power of Chaos, she willed the very ground and air surrounding Bad Luck to rip itself to shreds; A vortex of slicing winds and flying stones soon engulfed the manifestation of misfortune.

Bad Luck looks around, his eyes widen, as if he's terrified of what's occuring, "Oh dear, what am I to do?"

Luck finally gets back up, albiet slowly, and severely damaged, he drops down in front of Hecate, as if he's dead.

The tiny fairy began to nudge Luck. "Get up! Get up, we have to get away... we're too close... Karma's lost control, or something...!"

Luck tries to, "I can't........" He suddenly vanishes into light, the same fate happens with Hecate.

Bad Luck vanishes and appears near Karma, "You've lost yourself." He states the obvious.

Karma lashes out toward Bad Luck; it is apparent in her eyes that her mind was no longer in control; her eyes sparked with dark energy, as the power of Chaos suddenly coursed through her entire body, affecting her mind- "I HATE YOU!" she shrieked.

"Hate me all you want, it doesn't shirk that fact your nowhere near the level of a Balance Master." He states,"You'll see, once your dead, what went wrong." Powering up some strange, alien energy to himself, about to launch it, some nearby energy of Order blasts his hand, making it vanish. "What?" Another comes and knocks Bad Luck down, onto the peak of one of the nearby mountains.

Karma stands still for a moment, allowing the energies of Chaos to whirl around within her mind, howling like a malignant wind. She suddenly starts forth to pursue Bad Luck; calling a great deal of energy into her hands, she suddenly wills the mountains to shatter like glass...

Bad Luck's eyes narrow, "The old bat is here, already." He stands up, "I'll be back my dear, when I'm not outnumbered." He puts his gooish hand over his face and vanishes as his hand seems to be a black hole, collapsing upon itself.

The mountains suddenly seem to blast apart into a great many pieces, like a giant pile of pebbles that was suddenly kicked over.

Suddenly, everything stops moving, save for Karma. The mountains seem to repair themselves, as Order resets itself, the mountains looks as if they weren't destroyed at all, leaving Karma in mystery as to what exactly occured.

An elderly woman appeared and walked toward her, a large stick assisting her with her strides. Her peasant-like appearance showing either she is poor or has not been near society in ages.

Karma's mind began to return; the energies of Chaos began to dwindle and she collapsed in exhaustion, unconscious.

The old woman scooped up the unconscious Karma, and walked off with her.

The Master

At an old house, hidden within the Demonfang Mountains, Luck and Hecate find themselves with the old woman, who is at the moment caring for Karma, who has been placed upon a soft bed.

"How is she?" Hecate asked, fluttering about worriedly.

"She'll be fine for now." The old woman spoke, obviously knowing what she's talking about, Luck on the other hand, as usual, tends to have his doubts.

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"Yes, she will be better, she suffered minor damage." The old woman answers, Luck still doubtful, all the while looks to Hecate, who sighs.

Karma suddenly tossed in the bed, as if suffering a nightmare that sent a wracking agony through her body. Hecate started forth. "Karma!" she cried.

Karma turned, suffering another spasm. She began to mutter in her sleep: "I... I didn't... no... Master, where are you...? This... can't be happening...!"

The old woman places a hand on Karma's forehead, and attempts to put forth some energy of Order within her mind to assist with the Chaos overtaking.

Luck stares at what goes on, clearly confused.

Karma's body spasms as if she recieves an electric shock, before she falls back, sleeping soundly once more.

"What... happened?" Hecate asked in shock.

"She was undergoing a certain overload of Chaos energy." The old woman states, "But she'll be better in due time."

Luck sighs, "We've got big problems with Bad Luck, he's a-"

"A Secret, is he not?" The elderly lady finishes.

"Yeah."

Hecate meanwhile hovers near Karma, landing on her forehead. The tiny fairy sighs. "What are we going to do?" she wonders aloud.

Luck speaks aloud, "Bad Luck is more powerful than Control, and at some point during his reign, he became more powerful than even the most powerful of our species." Luck states, "Karma is our only chance."

Suddenly, Hecate begins to bounce on Karma's head like an agitated cricket: "Karma! Damn you, Karma, wake up! WAKE UP!"

"You must have patience." The old woman wisely states, "She will not wake immediately, she needs time."

Luck sighs, knowing time, it's never on their side, the Secret of Time himself said so, and he seriously disliked altering history.

"Then what?! What do we do? And just who are you, lady?" Hecate demands.

"I am Chu-ya, referred to as 'The Master' upon this planet, my homeworld, Thyria." She states, "I myself am a master of Balance. And I teach others how to master it."

Luck actively pretends as if he's hearing nothing, instead, only being agitated by this.

"What?!" Hecate exclaims. "But... then... you..." she stutters, lost for words.

"I can help." She states, "But she needs time."

"Which we don't have much of." Luck retorts.

"Then... what do we do besides wait?!" Hecate asks.

"Figure out the plans of your evil-doer before he sets it more into motion." Chu-ya states, "I must fix my planet, I won't be long." The elderly woman leaves the house, vanishing seconds later.

"What help." Luck sarcastically states, "Karma, we need you, wake up..." His voice filled with hopefulness.

Karma's body shifts slightly; her eyes open slowly.

"She's awake." Luck's eyes widen slightly, "You okay?" He asks.

However, it is apparent that something is wrong as Karma's eyes appear to be two hollow, pitch-black orbs.

"Where... are we?" Karma asks.

"We're at some woman's house, someone I've never heard of, named Chu-ya." Luck answers Karma's question immediately.

"Chu-Ya? Never heard of her..." Karma said.

"Karma?" Hecate asks, feeling unease at her darkened eyes. "Are you... feeling okay?"

"Yeah, is there some issue?" Luck asks.

"Issue?" Karma asks, before her body seems to shift. Throwing her head back, she begins to laugh maniacally. "Of course not... I feel just... fine..."

"No, you're not." Luck retorts, "You seems weird."

"It's because she has not accepted what occured a mere thirty minutes ago." Chu-ya states, walking into the house, slowly taking her steps until she's finally near the trio, she looks to Karma. "Things like this may take time."

"THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!!!" Karma roars suddenly, her face twisting in a demented sort of way.

"Karma! This isn't you!" Hecate exclaims. "What happened?!"

"Nothing happened." Karma retorted, her voice becoming soft, but dangerous. "You know... it's for people like you that my Master died... he died because of people like you..." Karma springs up suddenly, her body crackling with dark, lightning-like energy- "You killed him! YOU KILLED MY MASTER! BRING HIM BACK!" she demands, approaching the Secret of Luck.

Before Luck could react however, Karma falls to her hands and knees and begins to sob with grief.

Luck stares at Karma, somewhat surprised, "You're even lucky he learned all his power, Order gave it to him! It's brats like you who have to blame everything on others!"

"Enough." Chu-ya powerfully states, "We need not worry about the past, it has already departed." She approaches Karma, "I'm sorry for you, but you must let go of the past, think of what he would say if you were to attack a being like him. You could have died against that powerful figure." She looks about, "But don't you feel it?" She asks Karma.

"What is there to feel?" Karma asks between sobs.

"Dear child, you take life much too seriously." Chu-ya states, "The power that has been bestowed upon you, your gift, don't you feel it? Yes, 'm aware of your master's assistance in you gaining power, but you must remember to not let it control you."

There is a pause. Karma continues to sob, but her eyes have changed once more, reverting back to their usual golden hue.

"I... I lost control..." she simply says. "He would've been so... disappointed... I'm sorry Master... I've failed you..."

"And now," Chu-ya begins, "Accept what had occured to you those moments ago. Meditate on it, the dead may show themselves to you." She states.

"What do you... mean?" Karma asks.

"It shall come to you, when that time is decided." Chu-ya states, turning around, she walks toward the door, turning to Luck and Hecate, she states, "I'm finishing my gardening, would you to help a poor old woman gather her vegetables from the patch?" She politely asks.

"...sure." Karma says, surprisingly.

"How could you be thinking of gardening at a time like this?!" Hecate asks, bewildered.

Chu-ya turns to Hecate, "My dear, you should have patience and be calm, or nothing will be done." She says after she leaves the house, over to her garden nearby, Luck in tow. Karma follows closely behind, the expression on her face blank and unreadable. Hecate sighs in frustration and flutters behind.

The old woman picks up a wooden basket, to which she puts some of the vegetables into said basket. Luck assists, grabbing many as he goes along.

Karma kneels down, plucking a vegetable from the ground, then stares at it, remaining still, suddenly lost in thought.

Almost finished, Chu-ya walks over to Karma, showing her the basket of vegetables, though not speaking, she obviously shows that she'd like the one that Karma picked.

Luck floats over close to the house once again.

"...Do you know of my Master?" Karma asks Chu-Ya, without standing up.

"I knew many things about him, I worked with him once." Chu-ya replied, before heading toward her house, "Come, child. A dinner will soon await." She says as she goes into her house.

"What do you remember of him?" Karma asks.

"He was fearful of himself, he had.. Doubts of what he could and could not accomplish." Chu-ya states, "He was a master of Balance, and showed tremendous courage, and he continually fought others to keep the Balance at peace." She states, though seemingly not finishing what else she was to continue, as her voice died down as she entered the her house, Luck, once again, in tow.

Karma sighed and followed, with an impatient Hecate fluttering around her head.

When they enter the building, they find Luck near the door, and the old woman in the kitchen, making what appears to be some kind of soup. Chu-ya turns to them, "You may take a seat, or look around my home, I do not mind."

"If it's all the same to you, I'd rather talk." Karma says.

"Then ask away, dear child." Chu-ya answers, ready for the questions that are to come.

"What... happened to me?" Karma asked. "Back on the mountain... and in the room... I felt... some kind of chaos pulsating in my mind. I wasn't myself. But why?"

"You overexerted your power of Chaos, causing yourself to enter a state of uncontrollable power." Chu-ya answered, stirring the vegetables in a pot, "It's otherwise known as Strata."

"Strata?" Karma asked.

"Yes, Strata." Chu-ya repeats, "You can't control yourself during such a happening. Others must help you, other Balance-Keepers."

"...will it happen to me again?" Karma asked.

"Until you come to terms of why you were angered, and why you allowed yourself to be out of control." Chu-ya states, "Only then shall you be free of such a happening." Finishing her soup, she hands a bowl to Karma, "Eat, you'll feel better."

Karma lifted her spoon, but she had no appetite. She had questions on her mind, but... she didn't know what to ask. She set the spoon back down in her bowl and simply stared at it.

Chu-ya turns to Hecate, "Would you like some, or do you not eat?" She asks that to Luck as well, who refuses the food, as he can't physically eat such things.

Hecate sighs. "It looks good... I wish I could still eat..." she says longingly.

"I see." Chu-ya states as she walks toward her table and sits to eat her food, "Perhaps sometime I can figure out if I can change you back to normal, shape-shifted one."

"Not even Arbiter could help me." Hecate says sadly.

"And what makes you believe an old woman as I could not?" Chu-ya asks, seemingly confident in her abilities.

Luck yawns, and falls asleep nearby, floating in the air.

"What troubles you?" Chu-ya asks Karma.

"Worry." Karma responds. "I'm worried. My Master would've been disappointed with me if he had seen me the way I was... wait... was my Master ever afflicted with strata?"

"Yes, he was." Chu-ya answers, "As simple as that, most Balance-Keepers deal with it every once in a while."

"...what... happened? Did he... do anything when he was affected?"

"He was not able to handle being a Balance-Keeper immediately." The old woman answers, "He... I guess to say.." Chu-ya pauses, as if she's hiding something. "You'll have to ask him yourself, if you know how. Though there are many ways to do such a thing."

"What do you mean? How can I ask him anything?" Karma questioned. "The dead don't speak."

"Not physically, at least, you must search yourself for that." Chu-ya responds, finishing her food and cleans her bowl with hot water.

Luck, who seemingly woke up earlier, after a short nap, was overhearing the conversation, he looks to Karma, "You could always ask Time, or Death, they have ways of speaking with the dead." He suggests. "If memory serves correctly, Time lives on this planet, he could definitely help."

"I'll find him, then." Karma says, suddenly determined. "If I can simply just speak to Master Arbiter again... I need his guidance now more than ever..."

"I know of his location, if you give me a few minutes." Luck answered, as he left the building.

Chu-ya grabs a bag, filling it with some fruits and vegetables, she hands it to Karma, "You'll need this for your journey." She states, "Going back in time can take the energy right out of you."

"Thank you." Karma states, taking the bag.

"Wait- what happens if Karma loses con- sorry." Hecate interrupts, stopping herself midsentence.

"No... you're right." Karma sighs. "I might lose control again. That's a valid concern."

"I shall come along with you, if you'd prefer that." Chu-ya answers, "That is a delicate concern, as it can still happen. But once you come across your master, you should be able to stop it."

"I hope..." Karma said.

"The Master" walks out of her abode, and goes to where Luck waits, who yells out to Karma, "I've found the location!"

Karma and Hecate emerged from the house. "Lead the way then, Luck." Karma said.

Luck heads forward, up higher into the mountains, "Come along, he's somewhere at the peak."

Chu-ya following directly behind him, albiet needing her pole to help her along the way, turning to look at Karma, she smiles, "You'll find yourself soon enough, young warrior."

Time's Tower

Luck took them through various cliffsides, paths, and upward rocky cliffs, until the group had eventually come across a large great shrine, one with a large clock upon it.

"I'm not sure this is it, I think this may be his entrance, or something." Luck states, "Time dislikes visitors, even of his own kind was he angered when we came, so he put up some system, as I heard. This must be the entrance."

Chu-ya looks to Karma, "Do you believe you are ready for this challenge?" She asks.

"I'll take on whatever he throws at me." Karma says, with determination.

Luck tinkers with a few strange inscriptions on the walls of the shrine, and suddenly an earthquake is felt, as if shaking the whole mountain, the shrine, with the group upon it, suddenly takes flight up toward the clouds.

Luck smirks, "There, all fixed up."

Chu-ya, apprently, is acting as if she's seen all of this before, though deep on the inside, she herself is perplexed by this sudden happening.

"EEP!" Hecate shouts out in shock. "What's going on?!"

"We're being taken to where Time lives, I'm sure." Luck answeres the stupedfied Hecate. "It shouldn't take long."

As if, on cue, electrical energy shocks the floating rock, and the clouds and sky become stretched and changed by space itself, and within seconds, the group finds the rock floating over a large forest, lush with green tall trees, above the forest is an ancient strone structure that makes a path leading up to a tremendously tall tower. The floating rock though, sets itself nearby the forest, and as the group gets off, they find their abilities to float suddenly stop. Luck, somewhat angered by this, can barely move, if at all.

"Dang it." He gets off the platform and walks over to a nearby sign for intruders or visitors, it states:

"If you all wish to see I, you must get through the forest, and to the top of tower, will I be."

Chu-ya laughs slightly, "At least he's polite."

"We'll see about that..." Hecate grumbled, perched on Karma's shoulder.

Luck turned to them, "I'm sure I can get you guys through this place." He states, going on ahead, Chu-ya staying behind, looking at Karma, she asks, "Something troubling you, dear? Besides the Strata issue?"

"Nothing." Karma said, before walking into the forest.

Chu-ya reluctantly follows the girl.

Luck leads them through the silent forest, not a sound is heard but their steps, the grass rustling beneath their feet with each delicate stride through the thick terrain, tree branches hanging low, getting in their faces, until they come up to another stone shrine, Luck once again tinkers with the device as the group waits for the activation, which occurs moments later, taking them up to the stone path leading to the tower.

Luck smirks once the path connects with the floating platform, which leads them to the entrance of the tower. "Now we're just about there," He also obviously remarks.

"About time, too." Hecate remarked, stretching her wings.

The platform stops where the path begins, Luck goes on ahead, Chu-ya in tow, leaving the other two behind them. Luck, moving on ahead, gets stopped by an electrical attack, in it's place, stands War.

"We can't let you go further." He states, Luck growls angrily "Get out of the way."

To his surprise, War does move to the side, "You are not what I worry about. It is the girl, the floating orb, and the old woman. Hello Ladies." War greets.

Luck moves back to regroup with the others, Chu-ya stands by Karma.

"I suppose I should explain my reasoning." War states.

"Explain then, or get out of our way." Hecate retorts.

"You see," War begins, "There's such a thing as ruining our chances to have certain... Happening in the past we do not wish for. So you need not ask Time for help." A bunch of warriors appear from nowhere, though they look dead and frail, they all attack.

Chu-ya knocks a few down simply through knocking them into her pole. Luck, as he has the inability to attack, vanishes into nothingness, only to seemingly power up everyone else.

Karma runs forth and leaps into the air, delivering a kick to a soldier square in the chest, knocking him back into a group of other warriors.

A few more warriors appear, these ones have arrows, "Bows at the ready." War yells, listening to his command, the warriors get their bows ready, "Attack!" He screeches, and the arrows go flying.

Chu-ya uses some powers of Order, stopping the arrows in mid-flight, which then daintily fall to the ground, as more warriors come running to spear everyone.

Karma runs forth, dodging the spears and knocking two soldiers off of their feet with a well-placed kick; snatching their spears in her own hands, she proceeds to dispatch them with two thrusts in their chests before turning on the rest.

More continually appear, and more continue to strike, Chu-ya in perfect harmony in speed and attack with Karma, allowing the warriors to be finished off as fast as they appear. Though a few moe appear, the undead holding grenades or orbs of energy, which go flying at the fighting duo.

War stands in the background, obviously hoping to finish them off.

Karma raises her hands as if to call upon the powers of Balance, but falters...

"Here!" Hecate cries, summoning a wave of spectral soldiers that seem to absorb the grenades and energy orbs into their own forms.

The grenades and energy orbs blow up, destroying the spectral warriors, War sighs, "Pesky fairy." He curses under his breath, watching as his forces dwindle from the old bat, the girl, and the little fairy.

Luck takes shape by War, and with one swift attack, knocks War off the side of the path, down to the forest below, all the while, War yelling curses at the group, and before he fully vanishes from view, he flings energy spells that create a few more warriors, these holding up strong shields and swords.

Chu-ya looks upon the new arrivals, "Continually getting better, I see." She states, attacking on of them with an orb of Chaos, destroying said soldier completely.

Hecate's phantoms attack the other soldiers.

Chu-ya attacks another one with the same Chaos orb and annihilates that one as well, all the while, these few, barely holding up already, take out enormously large orbs, and drop them right where they're standing.

Luck vanishes suddenly, already prepared for the catastrophic event to unfold, Chu-ya, at the moment, had no chance to get an Order power ready, and so jumped backward to avoid serious damage.

Hecate retracts her phantoms, calling them back toward herself, Karma, and Chu-Ya, to where they merge and morph into a dome-like shield.

The energy orbs make a massive explosion, but the power of the powerful burst of energy does not destroy the shield, and as the smoke clears out, it is revealed that the path was not destroyed in the attack.

Luck morphs nearby, "That was crazy." He states, going along further to have the group follow him to the tower. "This tall building, is where Time lives, obviously." Luck states, as he enters through the main entrance, an archway, with dark shadows blocking view from inside.
Tower of Time

Karma sighs, following Luck into the tower with Hecate perched on her shoulder; the glow of Hecate's fairy form providing a faint blue light in the darkness.

Chu-ya follows directly behind Karma, Luck goes to a nearby circular drawing upon the floor. "Wait here, while I try to figure out this contraption." Luck states as he messes with the inscription on the floor.

Chu-ya watches Luck intently, then looks to Karma, to see how she's coming along.

Suddenly, the ground beneath the group begins to shake, creating yet another platform, up to the top of the tower.

"This seems... almost too easy." Hecate mutters.

"I agree," Luck justifies, "We Secrets are simple in many ways, but never this simple. And for another fact, the air around the tower seems stale, and that worries me."

The platform makes itself to the top of the tower, up at the other end is a large shrine, where a giant clock sits, ticking as every second goes by. A few large columns all stand tall and proud down the pathway leading to the shrine. Though, as each pair is seen, more and more appear to either be damaged or broken severely. Above the tower, is a twisting storm, colored blue-green, red energy crackling in and out of the clouds every few seconds like lightning.

Luck notices the ability to float has suddenly come back to him, and thus, he floats off the ground, "Finally." He states aloud, "So, Time! Where are you?!"

Hecate leaps up from Karma's shoulder. "Finally," she says, "Now I can stretch my wings."

Karma stepped forward, looking around.

Lightning energy suddenly crackled everywhere, time being distorted by each and every electrical shock to the tower's surface, until finally, one large one sprouted downward from the sky, and blasted the front of the shrine, and in it's place but a second later stoof a dark blue cloaked Secrets, throughout the body though, red markings riddled the cloaks body, adding a somewhat evil effect.

"There he is." Luck states, fear very apparent in his voice.

Karma was silent for a few moments as she analyzed the Secret of Time. "I need to speak to someone who is dead. Can you help me?"

"SPEAK.......TIME.........DEAD........TIME........" It answers.

"Something's wrong!" Luck exclaims, "Time, what happened?!"

"TIME...........YOU DESTROY......TIME?"

"No." Luck started to quiver slightly.

Chu-ya looks to Karma, "I fear we're in danger."

"I have nothing to do with time nor it's destruction." Karma retorted to the secret.

Hecate shifted nervously. "I don't think he's listening..."

Luck looks to Karma, "Shit." For the first time ever, Luck actually curses, showing already how fearful this is, he just added more to the fire. "We're so dead. We are dead!!"

Time stands on the ground, energy crackling all about, "TIME......DESTROY......TIME.............." Time speaks aloud. "TIME............DESTROY.................YOU............" A black forcefield appears, blocking the whole top of the tower, stopping anyone or anything from escape.

Luck stares wide-eyed at the obviously more powerful Secret.

Chu-ya gets ready for any attack that will be lashed out.

Tumultuous Time

Time stands there, energy still crackling before suddenly disappearing and materializes before everyone eyes right near them, electrical energy shocking the ground at their feet.

Karma leaps back, hovering in the air; Hecate summons a wall of phantoms that separate themselves from the maddened Secret.

Chu-ya jumps out of the way just in last second, while Luck floats up.

Time suddenly vanishes once again, a faded version of Time appears near Karma, but vanishes before it even hits her.

Luck looks to Karma, "Look out, he's warning you!"

Seconds later Time appears, about to attack Karma with a blue energy orb, in the same exact spot the faded version was.

Karma tried once more calling upon the power of Order to block, yet was timid in doing so; the result was being blasted back a short distance with a fraction of the attack's power.

Karma finds herself to be older for a few seconds before returning to normal, the attacks effects ability being one to age others. Time gets knocked down by Chu-ya, whoe had created a Chaos orb filled to the brim with Chaotic energy, blasting the Temporal Secret down. Though, the Secret itself stands moments later, obviously unharmed, yet shows where the attack had hurt it before.

"What a powerful ability," The old woman mentions.

Luck goes to help Karma, "You okay?" He asks, worried, "He's still in there, Time can hear us, but for some reason, he's attacking us."

"We're fine." Karma says, pulling herself to her feet. "If Time is trying to warn us about his attacks, then something is likely having some difficulty controlling him."

Luck nods.

Splitting himself into a crowd of clones, Time then vanishes, only to have a faded version appear near Chu-ya, with a black orb. A few seconds later, the attack happens, to which Chu-ya makes a Shield of Order, blocking the attack. time once again vanishes, only to reappear once more, away from the group, a powerful energy is built up with Time, an orb materializes above him, floating in place.

Chu-ya watches, Luck stares at the orb, "He's going to reverse time." He exclaims, "I can feel negative energies with that attack."

Hecate summons a horde of phantoms, which rush forward at Time and the orb he is charging.

Time dodges backward, yet, in a quirky motion, accidentally drops the orb, making it vanish, and he himself tumbles down to the ground, then suddenly vanishes.

"Where did he-" Luck at first exclaims before getting slammed against the black forcefield, Time standing where he was.

Karma lunges forth, prepared to deal a shattering punch to Time.

Time looks toward Karma, barely getting out of the way, before vanishing once more, another apparition of Time appears, once again attacking Karma, before the real one does the energy orb move.

Karma, startled, calls upon her powers of Chaos within her split-second reaction, generating a forceful, uncontrolled blast that forces all battlers away from herself.

Time gets blasted and slams into a column, shattering it to pieces, Chu-ya dodges the blasts' attack before it got to her, Hecate is struck, and flutters weakly to the floor, Luck seemingly hit with it once more, becomes knocked unconscious from the blow. Time stands up, obviously angered by the attack, powers itself up a little more, before ramming toward Karma.

Karma is struck by the blow; she flies back, tumbling along the ground; however, a second blast of Chaos issues forth from her body as she is suddenly lifted to her feet as if she were a puppet. "Don't... touch... me..." she says, trying her hardest to hold onto her sanity.

Chu-ya yells loudly, "Don't let the Chaos control you Karma!" She pleads, "You'll become beaten by Time's strength and lose yourself along that path!"

Time, once again, vanishes, only to have it's apparition attack Karma, though it does not hurt her, his materialized true self might as he attacks.

Tendrils of energy suddenly exude from Karma's body, shielding her from any oncoming blows as she is lifted off of her feet by some mysterious force. "I... said... DON'T TOUCH ME!"

"Damn you Karma, snap out of it!" Hecate roars at an impressive volume for such a tiny fairy.

Time stops moving, he looks to Karma, his dark blue glowing eyes watching as this occurs, a wide dark blue grin forms from the intangible face of the cloaked figure, as he moves off back to the shrine, content with Karma's situation.

Chu-ya yells to Karma once more, "You must focus, you must overcome this! Don't be controlled by this overbearing burden!" She assesses to Karma, attempting to help in anyway she can before she's forced to stop Karma once again.

Karma turns toward Chu-Ya. "Sorry... Can't hold it in... it's tearing me apart..."

Chu-ya, forming an Order sphere, jumps up to Karma, and has it make contact with Karma, though at that exact second, the old woman is blasted down by a blue sphere, and injured in the process.

Time smirks a second time, seeing himself clearly as the winner, he creates a larger sphere. "TIME..........SEND YOU...............GONE........FOREVER........." He mentions.

Karma screamed; she couldn't hold back the chaos energy that threatened to consume her mind any longer. Her entire body was on fire, her skin pierced by knives. She writhed around, until the force exploded from her like a bomb; the entire room quaked, the floor around her tore apart. Tendrils of energy lashed out toward the secret of Time, crackling with the energies of unfathomable Chaos.

Time, getting attacked by the Chaos, breaks loose from whatever control was put under him, and he backs away, as Chu-ya destroys the tendrils with some of her powers of Order.

Karma does not stop, however; a vortex of dark energy begins to surround her.

Chu-ya looks to Karma, and builds up great unfathomable Order into an attack. This orb containing most, if not, all of her strength, to which she has it surround Karma, in an attempt to stop the Chaos from spreasing and getting more powerful.

Chu-ya's attack connects; Karma screams, before collapsing onto the ground, barely conscious.

"Karma!" Hecate cries, rushing over to her fallen friend.

Karma tries pulling herself up, but is incapable of doing so; she falls back down to the ground, panting heavily.

Chu-ya practically faints from the overuse of Balance, whilst Time approaches the group, looking somewhat confused. "As to what has occured?" He asks Hecate, who was closest, and the only one besides Karma that was counscious.

"I... you... we..." Hecate sputters, unsure of how exactly to respond to the secret.

"No matter, I can reverse time on each of you, without time affecting the multiverse." Time states, somewhat proudly.

"Well, please don't. I came here for your help... only to find you possessed," Karma explains. "If it weren't for me, you'd still have lost your mind."

"How can I believe what you speak?" Time explains, "The clear one got to me quickly, how can I believe you're not fake?"

"How can we prove it? How can we prove you aren't still possessed?" Hecate challenged.

"Indeed." Time shrugs, "I could just destroy you. But that'd be too fun. I'll let you see yourself around or whatever, I don't care." The black forcfield vanishes, "Perhaps find out a thing or two about time, hm?" He suggests, "If you need me for something important, I'll be over there," He points at the large shrine, to which he floats to.

Luck comes to seconds later, and makes his way over. "Did we win?"

Karma merely groans in response.

"I see," Luck responds, using some of his power, he heals Karma somewhat, Time watching from afar, with Chu-ya still knocked out after her overuse of Balance.

Karma slowly pulls herself to her feet and staggers slowly over toward the secret of Time.

"I've come here seeking your help and I don't intend on leaving without it. There is someone I must speak to- someone who died- and I was told that you were capable of helping me."

"You speak of the deceased. It is possible." Time states, a portal opening up. "Who would this one be?"

"My Master. The Balance-Keeper Arbiter."

Time pauses for a moment, "It's tough to find one such as he. I'd suggest going into the portal for that." Time adds, "I shall help you along the way. But finding one such as him can take a while. Are you up for this?" He questions, waiting for Karma's answer.

Karma nods. "Of course."

Time nods, "It's a journey only two besides myself can take, who shall be the one you wish to come with you?" Time asks, then adds, "Also, to them, it shall be a mere five seconds, to you, it shall be longer." Time states, then takes note to only Hecate being the only capable one, as Chu-ya is unconscious and Luck is somewhat damaged. "Fairy, you shall help, I presume you and her have been through much together?" Choosing already for Karma.

"Of course!" Hecate said. "I have to babysit this one wherever she goes, after all."

Time chuckles to himself at Hecate's remark, "Also, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT separate while travelling through time. Got it?" He then says, "The portal is set, I shall meet you two there." He states, going through said portal.

Hecate perched herself on Karma's shoulder. Taking a deep breath, Karma stepped into the portal.

As the two entered, they found themselves surrounded by crackling dark blue energy, they felt themselves to be much lighter, and saw space around them distort. Near the end of this formed tunnel of energy was a bright white light, and from their entrance, was a large, metallic black orb or energy was hurtling toward them, obviously an attack made to separate them from within the portal.

"KARMA!" Hecate cried out.

Karma reached out and took hold of Hecate in both of her hands; spinning around, she kicked at the orb, concentrating the power of Order in her attack.

The orb was sent flying back to where it came, hitting something along the way, "Damn you!" a voice is heard, the light blue Secret appeared in the time stream before seemingly getting knocked off at some random point in time as another portal opened up, taking him in.

Karma and Hecate find themselves back in time...
