Dox is the twin sister of Para and together they form the "Paradox Twins" - she made her debute appearance in Flipside while Para appeared briefly in Lord Of Illusion.

Both Dox and Para are beings born of an alternate time-line in which Inferno Pendragon fathered young with Aither only to be killed by the machinations of Ebonscale - the two continue to exist despite the radical changes in the mainstream time-line that should of by all rights erased them from existence.

Dox takes after her father and represents the darker side of the duo, while Para does what he thinks is necessary to protect multiple time-lines Dox has been known to destroy time-lines out of sheer spite or if angered (like her father she is vindictive and suffers from a "God Complex").

Dox was involved in Flipside where she joined forces with Red and Amnesty to stop Betwixt and Moggy - who planned on returning to the "Flipside" (mainstream Earth)

The "Paradox Twins" will be making an appearance in the upcoming saga "Monsters" alongside their mother, Aither, and a host of other Pendragon characters..

The Forgotten

Para and Dox became involved in the strange events of "The Forgotten".

  • Time-Manipulation (Dox exists outwith normal time, allowing her to go to the past, present or future of multiple time-lines or exist in true "limbo": meaning she can survive the destruction of entire time-lines)
  • Energy-Absorption (Dox can absorb near-limitless amounts of energy from multiple sources)
  • Energy-Manipulation (Dox can manipulate stored energy to form beams, bolts, constructs and more)
  • Technopathy (Dox is a high-level technopath, capable of communicating with machines and bending them to her will - for example she can bypass security systems by simply "talking" to the alarm-system or cause machinery to stop functioning by concentration)
  • Paradox Fusion (Dox can merge with Para when pushed to her limits, becoming Paradox)
  • Odin's Blade (as a Knight of Pendragon Dox is the guardian of Odin's Blade, a silver blade with glowing Norse runes and a dragon-like hilt - capable of summoning a large storm raven that acts as a mount for the blade's owner, the bird is a minor storm-elemental with control over lightning, rain and stormclouds)

  • when merged as Paradox the twins carry both Odin's Blade and Perun's Blade - this trait is common amongst "true" Pendragons.. who are known to be able to carry two blades at once, a trait that puts them in high regard even amongst skilled swordsmen as it is usually impossible to carry more than one "Mystic Blade" at a time.
